Reflecting on my early experiences with social media, Pinterest and Instagram stand out as key tools for my Personal Learning Network. On Pinterest, I have found boards filled with lesson ideas and creative projects. On Instagram, I have followed multiple teachers who show innovative teaching methods and what the day to day life of a teacher looks like. In the future, I think these platforms will help me with my career by helping me stay current with trends, connect with other teachers, and learn new teaching methods.  Growing up, I attended a digitally rich school with access to computers, smartboards, and various software programs. This early exposure really helped me when it came to college technology preparation, providing me with a solid foundation in digital literacy.  As a future educator, I recognize the importance of copyright and fair use. In my classroom, I will make sure to respect the copyright laws of any learning materials I use, any instructional materials I make, and any work my students create. Something new I learned was that there are multiple different types of copyright laws. I think it is good that there are many variations though because not everyone wants the exact same copyright laws on their work. I think that cyberbullying is a big concern in today's digital age. A possible solution for this is to make students aware of the effects. Cyberbullying needs to be addressed and discipled just as much as bullying. Students are told over and over again not to be a bully throughout their school years.  I used MS Word at least once a week in high school. That being said, I only ever used it for writing essays so I am not very familiar with the design aspect of MS Word. I did take a technology class my freshman year of high school that touched on it, but not enough to be familiar and it was a long time ago. I do not use any other word processing software. I prefer to use MS Word because that is what all of my teachers used.  I think the most important ISTE standard is Collaborator. I think collaboration within a classroom environment is very important. In order for students to learn how to collaborate, teachers must be able to effectively collaborate as well. I also believe collaboration between teachers is important too.     In this class I hope to learn about all the different ways to utilize technology in the classroom, whether I am the student or the teacher. Since I hope to become an elementary school teacher, I think the skills that I will learn in this class will be very important and useful to my career. So far, I believe Canva will be my most used tool in the classroom. I aim to master the use of Canva and apply it all throughout my future teaching career.     Prior to this class, I used multiple forms of technology in my K-12 schooling. I mostly used MS Word, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint. In my senior year of high school, I took multiple dual enrollment classes so I am also very familiar with Canvas. Out of these main technological resources, I think I am the most skilled in MS Word and PowerPoint.
