During my visit to the Tech Sandbox, I got to see and interact with many forms of technology that I would not have had the opportunity to play with otherwise. If I were to use any of the tools in my future classroom, it would be the 3D pens. I think that they would be great tolls for younger students who are learning to write letters. The 3D pen would be fun and engaging, while also providing a visual once they have written that certain letter.

I chose the a standard that says, "Research how social media and technology can be used to distort, exaggerate, or misinterpret information." This means that students are being asked to evaluate the effects of technology, specifically social media. I think I could implement this standard effectively because I grew up in the generation with social media. I think I have become good at interpreting information on social media, having always lived with it.

A resource that stood out to me was the lesson plan development. I think this resource will be a very good tool to use when I am struggling to come up with creative and engaging ideas for lesson plans. I could also use this tool as an outline, and then modify the lesson plan based on my students' needs. I could also use this tool to strengthen my own ability to create lesson plans.
